How can we assist?

 

Do you only hire suits? No, we sell made-to-measure tailored suits and accessories, including shirts, ties, cuff links, pocket squares, lapels, and more!

How long does it take to hire a suit?
The first appointment can take as little as 20 minutes. If you are wanting to hire suits for your wedding, we allow 45 minutes for these fittings.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the appointment? For hygiene purposes, Bringing your own dress shirt with you to your appointment is recommended. Though if you plan on hiring one for your event (or purchasing), we have fitting shirts to try.

When do I pick up the hire items?
You simply collect the hire items 1 business day prior to your event from SuitVault.

Where do I return everything? After the event, you return all the items to your selected Dry Cleaner (New City Dry Cleaners Mount Hawthorn OR Stannards Dry Cleaners Subiaco) and they return it all back to the store. The cost of this ranges from $20 - $40 per person and is not included in the hire cost.

Do you hire wedding suits? Yes, we do, We have multiple collections that we put aside, especially for our groomsmen you can view these here.

Can you tailor the suit rentals? We offer different-length trousers and jackets, so no alterations are generally required. However, if you have a specific request eg: trouser lengths being an exact measurement &/or sleeves on a jacket, a contribution towards the cost of this may be requested.

How long does a made-to-measure tailored suit take to make?
 After the initial in-store fitting, it typically takes around 8 - 12 weeks to arrive.

When should I book myself and the groomsmen in to hire suits for my wedding? We recommend selecting the style and completing the fit in-store at least 2+ months out from the wedding. (We can also turn around sooner however sizes may be limited)

My groomsmen can't make the initial wedding fitting? Not a worry! We have helped size up groomsmen for suit rental & tailored suits all the way from the U.K. to South Africa. We work with them on obtaining their sizes and ensure a smooth finish when they arrive in Perth for the final fit. 

Are alterations included with the cost of a made-to-measure tailored suit? Yes, once the order arrives, we will contact you to book your final fitting, in the unlikely event that final alterations are needed, we take care of that with our local team and the cost of that is on the house.

Is your suit hire range available for purchase?
 Yes, we offer our SuitVault collection to be purchased as part of our made-to-measure offering.

Can I buy the accessories as well? Yes, we also have all our accessories available to purchase. Including, Ties, Bow Ties, Shirts & cuff links, to name a few!

Can I re-try my booked suit to try it on with some items I have purchased elsewhere since I booked it? We do not offer this service, if you wish to try on your hired suit with the new items you have purchased elsewhere, this will need to happen during the hire period when you have booked the suit and it is in your possession.

What is your policy on a postponement due to COVID-19? We do not offer credits or refunds due to an event being postponed due to the above - this would need to be taken up with the event organiser.

Hire Terms & Conditions

 

Contract: By hiring garment(s) from Suit Vault (“SV"), the customer agrees to the terms and conditions below. It is the customer’s responsibility to read and adhere to these terms and conditions.

Transaction: Bookings are secured once the hire fee has been paid in full (or 50% deposit) and cleared, 100% is to be paid in full prior to the dispatch of the garment(s).

Cancellations: The deposit (50%) is non-refundable under any circumstances. If you choose to pay the full amount of the booking and cancel up to 7 days before your collection date, the remainder will be reimbursed. It is important to note that deposits paid for both hire or purchased items are non-refundable.

Hiring Period: Items for hire will be ready for collection from 1 pm on the collection date. The hire period is 5 days, including weekends and public holidays. An additional fee may apply for longer periods, to be confirmed before booking.

Damaged Garment(s): The customer holds responsibility for the condition of any garment(s) rented from SV. Please note that we will take normal wear and tear into consideration. However, any damage beyond that will be evaluated at our discretion. In the event that the garment(s) are deemed irreparable, we ask that you make payment for the replacement within 7 days of returning the item(s).

Dry Cleaning: IS NOT included in the hire price; no attempts are to be made to clean and/or iron/press the garment(s). Dry cleaning must only be conducted by our Dry Cleaners:
Stannards Dry Cleaners - Subiaco or New City Dry Cleaners – Mount Hawthorn.

The garment(s) are to be returned no later than the next business day following the event. Garment(s) returned outside this will incur a daily late payment fee of 25% of the hire price.
Dry cleaning cost: $5 Shirt, $10 Vest, $20 Jacket, $30 - $35 Suit.

Non-Returns: If the garment(s) have not been returned to SV within 7 days of the original due date, the garment(s) will be deemed a “non-return” and SV will invoice the customer 200% of the RRP (the RRP is at the discretion of SV in the event the product is no longer for sale).

Made To Measure Terms & Conditions

 
SUIT VAULT is a true Made to Measure experience. Your suit is made just for you based on your measurements, choice of fabrics and customizations. Every SUIT VAULT purchase is backed by our Fit Promise. If your order does not meet expectations, let us know and we will make it right.

Return Policy

Please note that we don’t offer refunds as the fabric is cut based on your measurements and your customizations. If there is an issue with the quality or fabrication of your garments, please contact our customer experience team within 10 days of receiving your order.

Returns are at the sole discretion of SUIT VAULT, and will be reimbursed in the form of a SUIT VAULT Gift Card.

SUIT VAULT will only accept returned items that are in good and unworn condition with the tags still on and the vents fully stitched.

SUIT VAULT has the right to deny reimbursement for an item that is believed to be previously worn or damaged.

SUIT VAULT will not accept items that have been altered or adjusted in any way.

Any items returned to SUIT VAULT that does not meet the aforementioned requirements will be sent back to the client without reimbursement.
