We often get asked at Suit Vault about what type of dress code the gents should be in on their wedding day.

Think about the below when choosing the style of suits for your wedding;

  • Weather – are you getting married in summer or winter?
  • Location – Is it a rustic farm wedding or a formal wedding starting inside a church then moving into a ballroom?
  • Colour choices – Do you wish for the groomsmen to wear a suit to compliment the bridesmaid and the theme of the wedding?
  • Comfort – Knowing that you will be in the suit for a long time, chino’s trouser paired with a blazer is a comfortable style. Wearing a 3 piece suit for some can feel quite heavy and restrictive compared to the above.

Below are some choices when considering what to wear on your wedding day! We have options in store to hire tuxedos, jackets, chinos, vest, shoes as well as hiring all the accessories.

Should made-to-measure be more your style and you want to purchase a tailored suit to keep forever.  Let’s sit down and discuss (over a whiskey of course) the fabrics we have to make you the perfect suit.

Book in an appointment to discuss your suit hire or made-to-measure suiting needs or walk on in during our opening hours.

    Just make sure to choose a jacket that doesn’t look too long or too short, too tight or too loose, your trousers don’t make your feet look too big or too small and the waistcoat doesn’t make your body look too long or too short. I hope that helps guys.
